Direct links for only travel medical coverage insurance offerings:

In general, a reliable travel insurance company is set up to guarantee payment or wire money to hospitals. You might consider obtaining Primary coverage for medical reasons. From my understanding, this typically means that if they make a payment on your behalf, they will not seek reimbursement from any other coverages you may have. This will reduce hassle and maintain any lifetime limited benefits you may possess with your other coverages.  As a convenience to you, we are providing links to other websites beyond the control of Tour & Travel Resources, Inc. We are not responsible for the content or quality of other websites, nor do we endorse websites to which a link has been provided. We are only providing information for you to obtain this recommended coverage.

Option through Scenic’s Tour division: When the optional Travel Protection Plan is purchased, and it is necessary to cancel your reservation, you may be reimbursed all payments, including the deposit amount, less the TPP plan cost. Please go to www.tripmate.com/wpF431G for details on the coverage for the Travel Protection Plan. Should you choose not to purchase our TPP, or do not qualify for reimbursement under the terms of the plan, the following per-person cancellation charges will be assessed for all tours and optional excursion costs:

  • 91 days or more prior to departure: Deposit Amount

  • 90 days to the day of departure: 100% of the total tour

  • No refund on unused portions of the tour
